Important announcement regarding hand rearing formula with excess vitaminD.
Please do NOT feed any formula from the lots listed below.

Date: April 8, 2012

Subject: IMPORTANT - Kaytee Handfeeding Formula

Final lab results were concluded on Friday and indicated
that product was produced incorrectly.
Involved was one production
batch of Handfeeding Formula for Baby Birds and one of Macaw
HandfeedingFormula.

Both of these have levels of vitamin D3 that may cause kidney
damage, the severity of which will be dependent on the species being
fed, age of babies fed and the duration of feeding.

The following packaging code dates are of concern:

Haaaa la boulette!!

Ça a beau être une erreur dans la formulation d'une seule batch, on s'entend que ça rend les gens méfiants...

En espérant qu'une petite partie des proprios qui nourrissent des bébés avec cette batch puisse trouver l'alerte à temps...

Kaytee Exact mon oeil!!! C'est plus Kaytee à peu près et après moi le déluge.

Cela dit, quand les parents nourrissent leurs propres petits, ils ne donnent pas des doses toxiques de vitamine D.

ça peut montrer aussi qu'ils sont attentifs et ne laissent pas trainer un problème.

Vérifiez simplement les numéros de lot.
Les autres ont passé le contrôle de qualité. Vaut mieux prévenir que de guérir.
